If that is true, then you should also open your mind to the possibility that you have no spirit, that there is no God, and that spiritual matters don't matter.
You're absolutely correct. Open mindedness allows ALL possibilities. I happen to believe that I am part of something which is greater than myself, (call it God, Universal Consciousness, etc.) which is eternal, loving, and continues to evolve and create. But, that's just me, and it works for me.
